| Medical RecordsOur job in medical records is maintaining our medical records to the best of our ability, which includes following Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act regulations. Health Records maintained include: Face Sheet, Eligibility Status, Histories, Physicals, Medication Log, Health Maintenance, Problem List, Progress Notes, Lab Reports, X-ray Reports, EKG Reports, Immunization Records, Consults, and Health Record Archives.
We want every patients visit to our clinics to be as pleasant, well managed and efficient as possible. Carefully controlled records insure this will be the case. At Greenville Rancheria, we observe a detailed process for incoming and outgoing records, mail and faxes. This insures security and efficiency in our handling of patient files. Before releasing medical records, a written release from our patient is required to guarantee he/she is informed and that we are in compliance with the Health Information Privacy Act and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
